Just recently the Junkhousedog Joined the brazilian superstar guitarist NUNO MINDELIS on a uk tour backing the guitarist up on harp and vocals along with uncle dinners lead singer from the Roach twin band. Nuno had just recently finished recording his latest album with Stevie Ray Vaughan's band double trouble

OVATE A regular at the three biggest blues festivals in the country - The Great british R&B Festival at Colne, Burnley bLUES festival and Maryport Blues festival they, in recent years, played some of the more prestigious stages.

heroes Paul Butterfield, Little Walter and Lester Butler his sound is now very much his own.

For ''Junkhousedog and OV8' the words 'blues standards' and 'blues formula' do not apply, a true harp heavyweight mixing steamy shuffles with eclectic swing with true vintage chicago style grit. Imagine if you will, catching a night out to watch a live band, expecting the usual standard blues fare and walking into a joint that's literally jumpin 'n' hot. An audience that looks like its shoeslaces have caught fire and a sound who's only predictability is its both great exciting. Like his heroes, his harp is on fire with a honking tone that drives the music like an express train. Welcome to the world of THE JUNKHOUSEDOG WITH OV8!!!!!!!!! Its the Power of the Blues.

Chris is without doubt one of the best Blus axemen to ever emerge from the North of England, if not the entire UK. he keeps faithful to the Blues Genre, never falling in to the trap most blues guitarists fall in to and start following the rock route.

Luke is a dynamite singer and frontman, he is just so much fun on stage, both for the audiences but also the band themselves. Then he blows his harp and all hell lets loose. He is better than any other harmonica player on the circuit, by a very long way. You need to look at some very high profile and well known American harp players to find someone better.

Then there is Rick Lacey. He is widely regarded as the North West's finest Blues drummers and if that is the case, he must therefore be one of the best in the country. He is in demand as a session drummer and plays with visiting American Blues artists. Rick loves his blues, he writes for Bluematters magazine as well and has a huge collection of Blues CD's
