We welcome back to JBs the superb GrooveThing an eight-piece, soul, motown, funk & pop live band, based in the North West of England, who deliver a high energy performance guaranteed to get everyone on to the dance floor for an unforgettable evening. GrooveThings line up includes two female vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, sax and trumpet. They play a varied mixture of songs from the 60s right through until the modern era, and our style is funky, energetic and fun as our main aim is to get everyone dancing and enjoying themselves! The Cottonhouse Shakers are the latest outfit on the scene. This experienced group of Lancashire-based musicians hail from different musical backgrounds but gel together perfectly to play a mixture of chilled blues, soul and jazz with a keen emphasis on groove. As well as playing blues standards, the group are also known to take outside influences from bands like Hawkwind, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin arranging the songs in their own inimitable style.
