Red on Black all live in Oldham, near Manchester in the North of England. We've been together in one guise or another for the last 15 years. In our earlier days, we lost our one and only keyboard player. Rather than replace him, we decided that Anita should turn 'rock chick' and fill the gap by playing guitar.Already an accomplishedguitar/banjo/fiddle/anything player, her vocal and playing style now provides the template for much of what we produce. Since our formation we have remained committed to being a dynamic live band, playing high quality dance music drawing from dance music genres from around the world. Red on Black is greatly original material mostly written by me covering a wide spectrum of styles from African to gospel.
