Formed in 1987 By guitarist/vocalist Bill Daison the band have developed into a tight-knit unit playing a Chicago-style, electric blues, drawing on the influences of performers such as James Cotton, Detroit Junior and Magic Sam as well as more familiar names like Eric Clapton and Rory Gallagher. Bill Daison had been playing “the blues” for many years, sharing the stage with such luminaries as Roy Buchanan, Charlie Daniels, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny “Big Mouse” Walker.
“I hoped to attract musicians who wanted to play music for fun, away from the restraints of ““can you play anything we can dance to?””, comments Bill.
The band plays music they all enjoy, be it blues, rock, country or reworking of some well known “standards”
“We want the audience to have fun listening to us having fun” says Bill.
More live work followed including spots with blues stalwarts Nine Below Zero, Dr Feelgood and The Blues Band with the band increasing it’s local following and appearing at some of the UK’s main blues festivals in Burnley, Colne and Nantwich.
